Ari and Cama, the creators of Aricama, represent my moon and rising sign (Aries) and sun sign (Libra). These two signs are on opposite sides of the zodiac! Ari and Cama were birthed into this world one day in 2015 when I was visiting home in Virginia and when I would draw them in a comic, their personalities appeared naturally! Ari is sassy, a bit egoic, and super fiery while Cama is calm but still enjoys to play. I find myself battling being bold and impulsive and standing my truth to regretting being so forthright and worrying if I made anyone upset.
Their story is that they were the misfits in the grade school. They didn’t believe in the curriculum, that they had to make a flower fall in love with them, like the other girls in class because that should not be the purpose for existence. They are best friends, possibly lovers, and only wish to share fun love with all.
